headlights wont turn off
hey dudes
last night i parked up, turned the lights off, turn the key to kill the engine and the lights came back on!
with the engine running the switch works
with the engine off the lights stay on no matter what
i take this as an earth problem, would this be correct?
where shall i start looking?
cheers

Jason, A quick look at the diagram shows about the only way
the heads can get a feed with the Light switch and the ignition off
is from a fault in the dip/flash switch. It has a permanent feed
from the batery. No gaurentees but hope this helps. J.

daft question but are both on or just 1? and are they on main beam or just dipped? it could be the parking light switch is dead.

well the problem seems to have fixed itself
its all back to normal after disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it
both lights are on as if the switch was on full but not beams!
