Handbrake Lever and light

Has anyone got a good picture of the handbrake assembly.

My handbrake levers fine put pivots again and is catching on a piece of metal on the floorpan…should the lever sit under this bit of metal?

Also the wire is disconnected for the brake warning light so where does this connect to on the lever? AND where does it go? Straight to the light on the right hand side of the dash?? :dontknow:
(not that I have a light behind the dash, its a dummy!)
First I knew of this was when I drained my brake fluid and no warning light came on …..and upon further investigation!

On that note does anyone have or know where to get a brake warning light? I  wondered what those spare wires were!

I need some pics of the hadbrake light (back of) I dont have one!

Can they be ordered from VW or am I reduced to the bay for one?! :dontknow:

Should run through fuse 19, 10amp, same one as the indicators.  Stick up a wanted ad here or ask some or the people who are breaking, shouldn't have to pay 'rare item' prices on here.

I have a picture one combined with the choke light - Would that do?

I "think" the switch looks the same from the rear with the same type of connection

Anything is better than nothing.

 

Part number shown there for you. That's the one WITH the integral choke light though!
