Hand Brake Light
Hi i have a kk 1 clipper cab and since i had the handbrake cable replaced the light is either on, off or flashing regardless wether the handbrake is in use or not. Is this just dodgy wireing or does the light indicate something else ie low brake fluid.

Chris

Maybe worth checking the earth to the light switch (under handbrake lever) or maybe the switch itself is on the way out. Give it a wiggle and try pressing the switch by hand and seeing what happens.
Check also that there itn't any loose-ness in the lever, the cables may need adjusting due to the new cables stretching slightly after a bit of use.

I had a similar issue - seemed to be caused by the switch not being depressed properly when the handbrake was off. Seemed to be a bit missing on the bottom of the handbrake. I have wedged a bit of wood in nice and tight positioned just above the switch and it now works as it should...
