Fuel pump problems
Started car after two weeks idle and did not hear usual bzz of fuel pump?. Car turns over but wouldn't start. Its an 84 cabriolet. What number the fuel pump relay and position? How can I tell its the proper relay as my fuses a hybrid of the pics Ive seen in forum? Is there a blade fuse to check as well as the relay and if so what number? If I need to get one from Eurocarparts anyone got a part number save me raking through VAG. Finally, oil light keeps flashing all time -plenty of oil. Could this be a fuse issue and if so which nos. fuse?
A girl needs all the help she can get. Haynes electrical part to me is like childrens art.
Cheers,

If you have a look at the first picture in THIS POST It shows you clearly the location of the pump relay (no2) and the part numbers stamped into it. Should help you some.
There are too many online users to list.
