fuel and temp gauge help !
not used the cabby for nearly 2 weeks until today , started 1st time as usual but the fuel gauge and temp gauge aint happening ? any ideas ? thanks in advance

I would say that you arent getting the 12V to some of the dash instruments. Look to see if the fuse for these has popped, and of course if it has popped then theres usually a reason..
The gauges work from a constant 12V via the fuse box, and variable resistance to ground through the senders.
The 12V constant voltage is definately the most probable if BOTH gauges don't work, as thier grounds are independent.

has any1 any idea as to which fuse it is that protects fuel gauge and temp guage as i have checked them all and all ok ?
so either a wire has come off rear of fusebox or the fault lies behind the clocks , i just hope its the wire off the fusebox .

Hi, both mine never worked from bought but this morning just changed the 3 prong black stabillizer on the back of the clocks and temp works now but fuel gauge is showing full fuel but i know it isnt??? back to it ,,lol
