Fog light wiring - I have the wire but its not plugged in

I noticed a nice new looking wire fed under the carpets when i started checking on my new golf that seemed to go up to the fuse box but upon inspection it wasnt attached to anything…. the other end was attached to a spade connector on the back of the light units in the boot (is this really how the fog light is wired in?!?! not on the main loom??) I tried my fog light switch on the dash but it doesnt do anything, could some one give me some guidance as to where this lead should plug in on the fuse box as I kind of need my fog lights for the MOT which is due soon….

FIXED!

i had the fog light switch out and there are 2 spare spade conectors on the back, and low and behold with the test light these go live when the fog light switch is on when the head lights are on, so i connected the wire that powers the fogs up to the connection for the rear, and now they work
