Secondly if the bulbs are all ok, try changing the flasher relay they are very cheap and pretty universal. As for the noise, the flasher relays can be pretty loud sometimes, depends on the relay.

mine has been like that since I bought it (less than a year ago, had a new MOT)….
No bulbs gone, its prob a wiring issue for me.

If you put a relay that is meant for a 6 light system it will flash fast in a 4 light car
If you get what I mean :?

I'm think I'm right that they are meant to flash within a certain tolerance?? Mind you how many MOT stations actually check this I don't know, as I see a lot of cars on the road with fast or slow indicators. Maybe I'm wrong, just something at the back of my mind i remember being told a while back.
