Electrical woes

OK, so my restoration is moving on New tank pump relay fuel lines etc etc, but she won/t start. It will if i run the pump directly to the battery  but the relay isnt functioning, although it is clicking when i turn the key.

I don't have a volt meter at home but my trusy bulb and wires ahve told me that there is ;

red wire = live
red and black stripe = live but maybe half voltage?
brown = neutral

black = nothing
red and yellow stripe = nothing

so i'm assuming these are the two that power the pump, it shouldn't be the relay as it is new. But if anyone knows what should be powering up where and when i would be greatfull.
