Electrical Issues

Hi guys,

Just starting too try and sort the issues out with my mk1 cab, all of which being electrical.

First thing which is a pain is no heating. It will only warm up when engine does.

Second is really strange, only noticed today with the reflection off a window, when i step on my breaks my main beam headlights come on.

Second is the dash lights, nothing lights up so when im driving at night cant see anything at all.

Ive changed all my fuses on the off chance, but nothing changed.

your heating is a easy fix as it's not broken

your heating works off you coolent temperature, so this has to warm up before you get any heat

not sure about you headlight issue but i would start by checking the earths and checking the wiring to see is anything has been messed about with

dashlights this could just be that they have blow so try changing them for new bulbs to see if they improve things
