You can spend a lot of money trying to get a working MFA , most bits are now no longer available . My advice is as long as the clock is okay and things like oil temp work then i would be happy with that .
Have a look in the search facility on the site MFA been looked at many times .

need a new outside temp sensor I think - look under electrical FAQs & you'll find the part nos plus fitting instructions
The MPG problem is intractable - I'm beginning to think the most common fault lies in the processor itself rather than the G55 unit at the back of the cluster.
This however relates to the common default reading fault of 99.9mpg - as you are getting a reading I suggest you you check your vacuum tubes for leaks - these often rub against hot fittings and melt through. Easy to do - just pull them off and suck. If this test gives you vacuum compliance throughout the system, revert & we'll think through an alternative approach.
Mind you, I have been chasing this problem for months so don't expect a quick resolution.
Thought - run a manual check - you have distance on your MFA and you know how much fuel you are loading - run a manual check to see what MPG you are getting and we'll have a look at the error delta to the MFA.
