Digital Clock Replacement?

I have been told that it is possible to replace the digital clock that is set into the clocks in my Cab (non MFA). My one is knackered!
Has anyone on here done this & is the part available new from VW?

I put in a bid for a cheap set of clocks on e-bay last night that I am hoping to use as a donor part. I suppose I will find out how hard it is to remove the digital clock once I get this set.

Also spotted a set of clocks with similar mileage to mine, which the seller claims all work perfectly - so I might put a sensible bid in on these & just do a straight swap over in the event of finding that breaking the clocks is too much of a pain.
