CLOCK PROBLEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Hi ive just fitted new set of clocks today. All was ok until i tured the headlamps on. When the switch is flicked the digital display disappears and the rev counter stops working.

Also ho do you make the display brighter??? different bulbs????

Tried the adjster and it doesnt seem to make mch difference!!!
