CLOCK PROBLEM

Just installed a new set of clocks as the old ones werent working and the lugs were all snapped.

Fitted the new clocks and hey (They dont work either!!!!!!!)

The digital display is on when ignitio is on , but as soon as i turn the key the display disappears.

Also when i turn indicator on the green light on display stays on.

Can anyone please help me its in for MOT next week so with this problem im sure it will fail.

Is it a GTI? If so, make sure the brown and white wire is attached to the cam cover of the engine. Its the earth wire for the dash and can cause loads of strange dash related problems if it comes off. If its not attached then its probably dangling around the right hand side of the engine above the gearbox.

Cheers for that sorted all working now. Loose connection by the looks of it.
