Cheap stereo recommendations?

Hi - Looking for a cheap stereo for the cabby. My only requirements are an ability to play MP3's and a green display to match the dash! (hate it when stereos don't match!)

Any one got any nominations?

I bought this one last year - great value for money - with a jack port for a mp3 player and an additional USB slot too (I store my music on a USB stick and it simply plugs in and plays).  Plus you can change the display colour to green which is obviously the most important consideration.

Sadly I don't think my mobile supports BT streaming so the second HU may be out of my list…Geeky though it is…Matching display is one of those things I know I'll always stare at as I drive and it'll annoy the hell out of me!

All I need is payday….

You can buy a quality radio cassette for peanuts, add an MP3 cassette adapter (looks like a normal cassette except it has a slot in the side for a media card) from Maplins for ?30 and one cheap MP3 player :wink:

Not sure what speakers fit the cabby, but if they are of the 6" x 4" variety I recently purchased a set of Clarion SRC4616 which are good quality for the money….
(?29.99 + delivery, if memory serves correct!)
