Car wont start, no spark.....(Big pics)

Hi guys, Having a lil trouble with the 1.1 golf, it used to run fine but has been laid up for a few months and now wont start.
Theres no spark and its giving about 5v from the coil. (have replaced coil with a new one)

I have found a few plugs that arent connecting and need a little help identifying what they are.
Plus have found a broken wire that appears to be an earth for something…..

Broken wire (on fuse box plug)




Plug 1 (Maybe plug for handbrake and choke lights????)



Unknown plug 2 with 2 spades on it



Any help would be greatly appreciated

That connector is part of the engine loom
Its not used on my 16V loom though
Will look it up

Model year and badge ie GL please

Had a look on my gti
Cant see the spade one at all
The 4 pin one looks like my handbrake light plug but i dont have the brown wire
The Big plug is plug D       wire/socket no. 15
Is that wire black? or red/black
If that helps anyone

Its an A reg 1.1 Golf C

I think the wire is just black from what I can remember, will have to have another look tomorrow

Just looked at my 1983 (fuel injection though) wiring diagram and it says

D15 black wire gos to the coil! (the thicker one)
