cabby nsf and nsf wing indicater not working

any common faults with wiring on these
1986 cregisterd,
i thought it was a bad earth as when i temp put a new earth in it workd, but then now i think its blown a fuse!  
just seeing if anyone else has had probs b4 i start tracing wires back
