blowing a fuse!!!!!
I am majorly confused at the moment. Whilst at foxys on Saturday we looked at my horn as it was not working (largely because it was not connected) we found the correct wires under the bonnet and connected them to the horn. We also found out that a fuse (number 18) had blown.
We replaced the fuse and the horn sounded and also the handbrake warning light to the right of the dash also started working :? which as I understood it was supposed to be off fuse 19.
I got home and the fuse had blown again so I upped the amps of the fuse from 10 to 15 and everything worked again sat it on the drive for a while doing bits and bobs, still worked. Then I needed to go out but the damn fuse blew again whilst I was on the road. so upped the fuse to 20 amps and set off to work this morning with a working horn and light got less than 1/2 a mile, stopped at traffic lights and yes you guessed it I put on the handbrake and no light.
So before leaving work I put in a 25 amp fuse and I thought I would try every electrical circuit in turn to see if it was something I could find. went through everything, indicators, hazards, head unit, heater, fag lighter, etc etc, with the hand brake on even tried turning the steering wheel on the spot (slowly as no power steering) still the light stayed on. I even ramped up the volume on my ice much to the annoyance of my colleagues (funeral home car park etc)
hmmd a bit, set off and guess what. 500yds, traffic lights no H/brake light no horn.
Got home really narked and thought I would wedge up H/brake enough to light lamp and try all of the electrics again. did so still the lamp lit up so drove off down the road to see if I could see when it went out and I did.
Here is the problem though. It blows the fuse when I make a 'fast' correction in the steering from turning to straight with or with out indicators. So anyone got any suggestions?

could it be a 'slightly stripped' wire running from the horn catching inside the column somewhere was my latest thought.
