Blaupunkt Radio DIN plug to MP3 player advice

Hi all, Ive just found out that my Blaupunkt radio has a 6 pin Din socket on the back so ive taken the radio out and had a look, sure enough there she is in all her glory   Ive been and purchased a 6 pin DIN plug and a 3.5mm Jack (I got both a mono and a stereo one) but im not 100% sure on how to wire it up! Has anyone done this before or does anyone have any advice on how to do it before i start to have a play? Currently there are 2 pins in the DIN socket on the radio that are shorted out, I believe that these 2 pins will connect to the outer part of the jack plug and that I have to run another wire from the centre part of the jack to one of the other pins, is this right? any advice will be a big help and some pics or wiring diagram would be nice too   Thanks in advance, Paul.
