BATTERY DRAINING
Hi All,
I have a 1.8 clipper cabrio with a new battery fitted over 6 months ago - my problem is that it keeps draining.
I leave it for 5/7 days at time with out driving and it tries to start up generally fails.
Once up and going it does drive ok but I have some confidence in her , a bit.
What would you guys advise - do I NEED TO CHARGE HER UP and if so which battery charger should I invest ?
Thanks.

- Make sure you have a good earth, and also a good thick wire from the alternator to the battery.
- Wire the radio so that theres no permanant live (except for the memory)
- Check theres no items that drain it such as amps, ancillory items, alarms etc..
Otherwise theres not much you can do, you could check that that it is actually draining by trying another good known battery, and also that the voltage regulator on the alternator isn't faulty. (please do a search on this as its been mentioned about 1 gazillion times)

everything that madferret said, if you have only had the battery for 6mths,
take it back , i,m sure you had a ticket when you bought it.
