Anyone well good with electrics ??!

Really need somone to assist me with re-wiring my gti …

im stuck with the ignition

where are you stuck?

its fairly simple.

The starter motor will be connected to the battery +ve and chassis grnd.

There will be a feed going from the ign switch to the solenoid on the starter motor, probably via a fuse. (this will stage 3 on the ign switch)

Thats takes care of spinning up your motor.

Next is fuel and spark. Stage 2 will be connected to the +ve on the coil, probably via a fuse and relay.

fuel pump, I cant remember if thats stage 1 or 2, but again wire from the ign switch to the fuel pump relay via a fuse.

its the smaller lump on the starter motor.

There will be two terminals on it.. one is ground, the other is positive.

The ground will be connected to the chassis some how.

Basically the starter motor will have a thick power wire straight from the battery for the main juice, and also another terminal that goes to the ign switch.
