Aerial Help!!

Hello People,
I will soon be looking to get a new Aerial for my mk1 GTi to fit the hole on the passenger wing, question is where is the best place to get them from?
Can you still buy them from VW?
If not where is the best place to get one from?
Anymore help would be great!

Just get a standard aerial from Halfrauds, argos or any place like this. Should be cheap too!

I know gsf do them. No idea what the quality is like though :dontknow:

I got an electric one from GSF - it's a great fit and it's only 25 quid - about half the price of those from other places. Beru one - good quality!

I've had a couple of Hella ones from GSF in the past for my cars. Quality is good and they cost under a tenner

Were all Aerials fitted to mk1 GTi's electric?

The mk1 did not have any standard fit radio gear (including aerial). If any equipment was fitted new, it was down to what the dealer offered.

Yeah thats what i thought just didn't know if i should get a electric or non-electric aerial?

Its personal choice. Obviously check that your head unit has the wire for activating the electric ariel if you get one of those.

Late cabrios had stereos as standard and their ariels were manual.
