hi there im looking for a 12v feed from the fusebox of a 1991 late clipper cabrio
it needs to have 12v while cranking so as not to interupt the ecu for the g60
i think ive got most of the other wires done to where they should be but seen a few comments when looking around about the live feed for the ecu
and getting a power spike and damaging the ecu any help greatly appreciated
thanks matt

the proper way to do it would be add an ecu relay, either by cutting plug R out of a CE1 digifant engien loom or adding a relay holder above the fusebox. i would use a VW relay holder so it clips on nicely, then wire it up:
30 - live
85/31 - earth
86 - ignition live from d2 or d7
87 - output to ecu
the later G60 use a #30 ecu relay, if so then get one from VW then wire it as above and in addition pin 86a goes to the G60 ecu pin 23

the ecu blue/yellow is probably the fuel pump relay trigger wire to g1/3, if so this goes to D/13 on the CE1 fusebox and you fit a 67/80/167 relay to slot 2. power the pump, lambda heater and injectors from E/14. run 2 wires to this pin, 1 to the pump and the other to a male spade, then pop the injector/lambda wire into a female spade and plug it in. just like factory
