Oil pressure sensor

As you can see, I don't have a pressure sensor in the filter housing, I just have a pipe for a gauge, my question is, would it be ok to fit a sensor in the other hole where the blanking bolt is, would it still work normally?

The normal position for the Pressure switch on a diesel was on the side of the head.  I suppose you could fit the low pressure switch (sensor) there.

I have one on the side of the head with the blue/blick wire going to it, i'm looking to fit the one for the blue white wire

isnt blue/white temp sensor for the diesel glowplug relay? the oil pressure wires should be yellow on the side of the head to a bluer or brown switch, blue/black on filter housing to white switch
