Has anyone found an upgrade oil pressure sender for mk 1 '78 diesel that has the same switching pressure setting for the dash alarm? Current sensor is just the alarm switch single wire version.
Or in theory do away with the dash alarm if a gauge can be viewed if too high. Or is there a gauge that has an alarm style light on it?
Does anyone know what the alarm pressure is?

Can't remember exact but it is listed in the Bentley/haynes.
The buzzer is from the sender on the oil filter flange. the flickering light is from the sender on the side of the head.
They do go bad, get get the same colored one that you have.
