Fitting a Diesel pd engine in a mk1

Hi all , I would amagine this conversion has been done a few times now , mk4 golf diesel engine into a mk1. First of all can it be attached to the original 020 gearbox for ease of fitment , wiring , I heard you can get standalone managment now for them to make it simpiler , is there anyone out there that can do a wiring loom to make life easier and driverside engine mount , I guess that has to be made special for the job.  Any thoughts and help especially from those that have done the conversion , Have got the 1z motor fitted at the moment , been in for many years
