Hello Guys
i had fuse box problems well i thought, i changed the fuse box myself and car worked fine athen after that i get no nignition lights or any start at all the car is now dead. ii have a 1989 mk1 model. i also feel as if i am missing a few relays as i only have 3 in my fusebox.
My lights work though and its a brand new battery
but after looking online i noticed that the battery terminal on the back of the fuse box which is red is only one cable yet online it shows 2 so i dont know what the revious owner did.
but i am mostly having issues with elctrical stuff and fan not working at times

Do you have a Bently manual? It is a great source of information.

Depends on how may things you have and if yours is carbed or injected. for the number of relays, basically you should have a coolant level, a load reduction, horn, Turns, wiper, and seat belt warning on a 89 carbed…IIRC
