Stoned???

Hi All
I bought stone guard stickers from Brown Stickers on EBay and guess what they don't fit right…
I saw another set for sale on Ebay from Andy Motorsport dog and wonder will these fit?
These ones have "ears" on them… 
Any comments would be greatly appreciated…
There seems to have been a bit of banter between the two of the sellers as they both claim that they sell the right ones…
The stickers have black dots and I wonder if they are the right type??

I have an original set from VW that I picked up a few years back (hidden away in my stash of mk1 stuff) what do you need to know? shape size etc? Which ones are right? I don't have any pics, but can check tomo eve.

I think the ones with ears are to cover back in behind or between the clipper kit and the body of the car, kinda fold back inon themselves. Have you the clipper kit off?

No the spoiler kit is back on after the respray . Does your stickers have these ears on them???
I thought these stuck on the rear arch kit with the ear wrapped  into wheel arch near the tyre???
Don't suppose you want to sell your stickers???

My stone stickers have the ear on them too… The stone stickers follow the line of the arch of the clipper kit and should snug back in. I think it may be best to remove the clipper kit and fit them.

No mate my set not for sale, I bought the set and the rubber gasket seals which goes between the car and the clipper kit, if ever I needed to remove or go for a respray.

I wonder can anyone else confirm if you have to remove the kit prior to fitting these stone protectors???
It will be a pain having to take the spoiler kit off again

Do I have to remove my spoiler kit to stick on the rear wheel arch guard stone protector transfers????

The kit has to come off prior to fitting. They then get tucked behind so there a snug fit

Yes mate, when fitting they fold around to the back for a nice fit.
