Hello all,
A few years ago I read a fantastic guide on how to refurb spotlight lamps, I'm pretty sure it was on this forum but I can't seem to find the post now. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about doing the refurb? Or at least splitting the lamp open as mine are all foggy inside with age related wear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rollsey

I think I've read somewhere about someone who didn't split there's and poured water and either soap crystals or bicarbonate of soda or something and that took the cloudiness out of the glass.

Cleaned mine through the bulb opening with a piece of sponge hooked to a stiff wire and dishwashing detergent. Clear as new now.
