Anything in the engine or suspension I've painted with it seems to develop rust after a couple of years.
I've now taken the hammerite off and used an epoxy mastic, great stuff with some great reviews, been on my car for 5 years and still looking good.

I think the change in temp could the contributing factor then. The weather at the moment especically where I am is very damp also so with that an the change in temp is not a good combination for applying paint.
Last time I did a few parts I did it in my kitchen much to my wifes discussed!!!!
