cheers just what i was looking for ive started stripping my engine having it vapour blasted and zinked were the rocker covers matt black as standard as my ones almost silver now

Not sure really - bought a spare dx engine with the head reconditioned and some good auxiliary stuff on it, so a good base to start.

Will be needing your help and advice???

Not going to rush it, will be complete for this time next year… I hope.  

thats a great job loads of vapour blasting by the looks
where could i purchase a rad cover like the one in photo or is it hand made ?

They pop up on eBay from time to time. 

I'm hoping to make a few in the coming weeks. Ill let you know how I get on.

This project gave me the inspiration to do mine, I'm not going for complete perfection as above however I am doing a pretty thorough job. Want to have mine completed by June  

Will be on my build thread soon…..

Good luck to anyone who's starting, and if your thinking about it…….. Just do it!

What tools products do people use to get such a clean bay ?  Pressure washer? Hand held steam cleaner?

Lovely engine bay. Can't beat a mint standard engine bay IMO.

Has anyone else noticed the clutch cable looks like its the wrong one? It's on a bit of an angle at the gear box end.
