cheers just what i was looking for ive started stripping my engine having it vapour blasted and zinked were the rocker covers matt black as standard as my ones almost silver now

This is a pic of Chrissy mk1 cabriolet engine - excellent work - going to have a go at it myself!
Not sure really - bought a spare dx engine with the head reconditioned and some good auxiliary stuff on it, so a good base to start.
Will be needing your help and advice???
Not going to rush it, will be complete for this time next year… I hope.

where could i purchase a rad cover like the one in photo or is it hand made ?

This project gave me the inspiration to do mine, I'm not going for complete perfection as above however I am doing a pretty thorough job. Want to have mine completed by June
Will be on my build thread soon…..

What tools products do people use to get such a clean bay ? Pressure washer? Hand held steam cleaner?

Has anyone else noticed the clutch cable looks like its the wrong one? It's on a bit of an angle at the gear box end.
