I've been using autoglym for a few years now, and i autoglym to be awesome for about every job on cleaning my car,
But I've recently bought meguiars liquid wax kit, and I couldn't believe the result, I'd say 3x better then autoglyms super resin wax and polish,
It's not the cheapest, but I would deffinatley recommend it to any one… And by the way I don't work for meguiars

I use AG SRP and their HD wax and think they are great.
I'm just after something that dosent take all weekend.
I say I'm just going to throw a bucket over it and before you know I've got the seats out going full throttle

I'd just like to throw this question into the melting pot so to speak.
First of all I've been using Autoglym off and on for over three decades but recently I decided to try some Meguairs for a change. So I bought the 'Clay Kit'. I've never used clay before, so I was not sure what to expect.
Followed the instructions to the letter but other than feeling that the paint surface was smoother it didn't have the impact I was expecting.
Maybe I was expecting to much and I suppose it does what it says on the packet.
I only did it on the top of one wing, just as test.
Now last Sunday (before it got way to hot to work on the car) I noticed I had one or two fine scratches on the rear 1/4ers. Almost like fine pencil marks about three inches long, so I took my trusty Autoglym Paint Restorer using just a cloth and hey presto.
In a matter of seconds not only were the scratches gone but the paint changed color as well.
What I mean by that is, the white had turned whiter and the cloth was grey with grime and dirt.
Now the car is hand washed and dried every weekend so it shouldn't have been that grubby but I didn't see these results with the 'Clay Kit'!
Was I just expecting to much from the "Clay Kit'?

The clay kit is great for removing tar and cr8p build up on the paint, but should always be followed with a paint clean and/or polish, seal, then wax for best results.
I'd always recomment - wash, clay, wash, clean with something like Carlack Nano68, polish with *choice*, seal then wax.
I've always found AG products very dusty. For a medium abrasive polish Dodo Juice Lime Prime works well on all colours, followed by something like Poorboys XP sealant, (Black hole for darker colours) then a good wax.
