Hi guys I really want to take the brake servo off when I get the fan housing and rocker cover plastic coated how hard would this be to remove it all? Once off would it may be easier to just paint it? Would you have to dismantle the brake servo completely to plastic dip it

I never done it, I had a spare servo and brake bar, so painted them up and when it went in for a service the garage swapped them over.
I think its a bit of a pain and u need to remove s few items to get in to it :-/

I think painting it will be best as it is not really exposed to the elements hidden behind the engine, the paint the VW put on there lasted 20/30 years.
