C4 Gtechniq Permanent Trim Restorer
Ok a little review on some C4 on my Campaign external plastic trim. It's not cheap but they say it lasts up to two years so seems worth it.
The product comes with 4 cotton pads like make-up removal pads.
Products used in this mini review
A few shots how the trim looks before cleaning
The trim is thoroughly cleaned using a detailing brush and Meguiars APC 4:1
A little Gtechniq C4 is applied on to a cotton pad. Very little is needed.
Some 50:50
Once applied, the area is given a quick wipe with a mircofibre cloth to remove any residue
(The rusty number plate holder is going to be blasted soon!!)
Right one has been treated
Some beading shots
Was very impressed how easy it was to use. Very little product was used and it leaves a nice natural satin finish. It drys instantly and does not run on to the paint work.
Will update this thread after a few months to show how it's fairing up to the elements!

Going to be keeping an eye on this to see how the stuff bears up over time. Any of the guys/gals using this also use a jet wash to clean your cars?

if you you tube search it there are loads of vids showing it applied and people taking a jet wash to it after etc and water beading off etc :-)

From memory hugh £20-£30 delivered, which when you get bottle you think wow, as its tiny!
But as above description says apparently a little goes a long way.
I have my bottle on side from months, just gota get round to using it.
Wana do me interior panels as well, buy key is to use cotton buds as well apparently to make sure you cover every inch of plastic other wise bits you miss will be dull vs other bits
Check out pincher sportline thread also

Forgot about this thread until now. Chrissy - How did you get on with this product, has it lasted well?

It worked well on my interior panels and still looks good, but does not last as long on outside plastics I reckon, but then the more you clean a car the less the product will last.

I used some on a tired wheel arch extension, totally transformed it.I have found though that the remainder hardens in the bottle over time .

cool. So is the general vibe to buy? Or is this product not worth the high price tag?
