best way to remove polish from a vinyl roof?

As title says really, I was polishing the car and got a bit on the edge of the roof and somehow right in the middle What would be best to get the white marks off ??

Hi Scott,
Have you tried nice warm water, Fairy Liquid' and a nail or a tooth brush with a T-towel to hand?
Sounds silly but just go over it very lightly with the brush and wipe it away quickly with the towel.
Don't want to apply any real pressure though. Your softening it and not scraping it.
A few times over should do it Mate!

Hoover it? Ideally warm water and a wet vac would be best but a nail brush and Hoover should do it

A few years ago I used a UPVC cleaner to do my hood. The results were very good and lasted quite a while.
If you do a little bit you may have to do all the rest though!!
Here are some that I did a few years ago
Best method I've found with new hoods though is to keep a sponge just for that area. For years I made the mistake of using just one. What's the last thing you wash on the car? The wheels. What's the first thing you wash next time? The cream hood. Doh! All the wheel dirt went straight on the hood.
