This may seem like a silly question but where is the best place to pick up some touch up paint, I need to tart up a couple of very small areas on the bumpers

I've used this company with different colours and have been very happy with the colour match. Ive had a can of Helios Blue for a Mk2 golf and it was a very good match, White for my golf and dark silver for my scirocco.

I've also heard this is also a good place but not used them my self.

Paul on your car I think you'll find the color code has been superseded by a new code, so not LA5Y but AR8TL!
Which stands for 'All Rust Below The Lacquer'!

I have used auto paint at St Helens for quite a lot of paints. I have always found them to do a good match at a reasonable price.
