Being tighter than a very tight thing seized inside something very tight, I was looking at a way to replace the BBS caps I had on a spare set of wheels. I did see that someone on here had a set of BBS caps at £ 13, but I wanted 'VW' on the centres, and I didn't want to pay as much. (SQUEAK as the hinges on my wallet are forced open) So, I found these badges on fleabay at about £2.50 for 4 (faulty printing meant that they were out of centre, but no matter…). Being about 1or 2mm bigger than the caps, I fettled away for a few minutes on the bench grinder, cleaned up the edges, removed the grotty bbs discs that had eroded, cleaned up the backing and glued them on. Voila! What do you reckon? Before:

Nice work mate. Cheap as chips. Does this mean you don't buy the beers at the AGM then

I'm in Spain, so can't make the AGM this year. We'll see how it goes next year.
Unfortunately, (or fortunately?) I'm not good with beer.(the chaep stuff anyway) I had ONE large Cerveza the other week, and ended up in A&E an hour or so later with an UBER Migraine! Maybe it was my wallet complaining, after all it was €1 for a jarra (about a pint).

I still have some of the BBS RA badges available. I also have various BBS replacement badges in 55,65 & 70mm sizes.
