Nearside Wing and Boot Lid - 84 GTI Cabriolet

Hi all,

I'm looking for a decent quality nearside wing and boot lid to fit my 84' gti (minimal rust if poss).

 Some pics below of the car before it's been stripped.

The correct boot for the year shouldn't have the 'roundal' on the left. 
There maybe holes for the pins in your current one so you'd have to get stick on badges if so. 

Hi Dano, Thanks for the advice.  I wasn't sure whether the badges were different with it being an 84 model, launched in the year of the Mk2?



 

where are you located in the north east mate

I'm in Hebburn, South Tyneside, but the car is currently based at a garage in Sunderland.        

Peterlee mate have a few bits lying around

Cheers - what do you have?  Main thing I need at the minute is a boot lid and front grill trim.

I went through that thought process a few a year back. My boot lid is newer than the car and has/ had holes for the roundel in the lid. 

The brochure for 84 shows no roundel, whereas the 1986 brochure (08.08 version) does.
