I'm looking for a Mk1 Cabriolet or tin top but automatic. Tax and MoT exempt would be good or an unloved one but must be running and with an MoT if not exempt.

Still looking. Would prefer a 1.5 auto. Please pm me if you have or know of something suitable.

Good luck, I spent over 3yrs looking for a good Cabriolet Automatic that didn't have an interior that looked like a crime scene crossed with a hookers bedsheets, valeted by Edward Scissorhands, or smelt like a dead badger was hidden under the seats. Had mechanicals that were tired (to be polite), had bodged terminal rust or crash damage, and roofs that had been fitted by a drunk Gorilla or had more holes than a tramps sock. All were described in glowing terms.
I was about to set off to see a BMW 325 Cabriolet when I saw an advert for my car. Paid over the odds for it, only for one to appear just down the road a lot cheaper, but I didn't go and see it. I had been into Wales, Scotland and south of Brum.

I'll take a 1600 if that would be easier. Yes we've been there with a car previously. All the way to Gloucester from Devon to find exactly the same car less them 50 feet from the house. Perhaps some old boy in the village has one so I'll put a postcard up. They found a Bristol 401/3 in a shed years ago.

One on eBay. It's a bit special but so is the price.

Damn, sorry to hear that.

When the steering wheel was first put into use in automobiles, it was called the whip. The term has now been generalised to classify any automobile.
