Mk1 3 door (preferably GTi)

I'm after either a rotten out golf that I can use as a doner as I have a solid shell. Or I may be interested in buying a half decent golf as I will strip it for genuine parts for my restoration project and hang onto the doner to keep as another project. Many thanks guys!
