I bought this as a project 2 years ago with a 1.9td engine and fully restored it as i was planning to keep it, but plans change and it is now up for sale.
Fully restored all parts replaced with OEM  parts or restored to a high standard.

Engine and drive line

The engine was replaced with a 1.9TD AAZ from a 1993 vw vento, engine was coming up to 100,000 miles (no proof of this). Engine was stripped of all ancilleries  cleaned and serviced. New clutch for the 5 speed gear box from the vento. Exhaust s a custom 2.25" stainless steel  3 piece with back box, sounds and looks mint. custom intake pipe with K & N Air filter. Upgraded 9" brake servo and 22mm Master cylinder. ALL Brand new brake pipes and flexi hoses.
Injection pump has been fully rebuilt by diesel bob, a guru with bosch diesel pumps. and boost pin has been replaced and the governor has been adjusted for higher ratings. All details available for this

Exterior

The outer shell was in great condition. The sills have been replaced and any rust has been removed and zinc primed and sealed. the underside was stripped back of sealant and redone with epoxy mastic, including the fuel tank and rear axle. This is a 30 year old truck so not show paint, but as you can see from the pictures it looks amazing.

Interior

All black apart from MK2 seats, a lot comfier. Sony stereo all clocks and dials work. centre console with under tray. fuse box with fuse puller and a new heater fan.

This truck is finished to a very high standard and can be driven as is or tuned up to be a ridiculously powerful smoke machine. this is a highly tunable engine and with great gains from a few small upgrades. Driving it around gets looks and nods everywhere and it handles very well, recently done a few big trips in it, good power and great to drive.

Must see, viewing is welcome and test drive with deposit for serious buyers only. Loads of receipts for critical parts and retailers receipts.

The truck is used regularly atm so mileage will increase.
