I'm reluctantly selling my MK1 Golf Convertible due to my growing family. I've owned it for the past 3 years and I've thoroughly enjoyed driving during the summer months and taking it to a few shows.

I've only ever taxed and driven it from April until September and only if the weather is dry will I drive it, It's never gone out in the wet. I keep it under a full size breathable weather cover at all times and prior to me owning it, it was garaged.

It's down on the log book as a 1.4 GL. The previous owner carried out a 1.8 GTI engine conversion (I have the log book for the engine). I haven't updated the log book as I only do around 500 miles a year and it means the tax is cheaper.

I've put a lot of time and work in since owning it, new water pump, aux belt, timing belt and pulley, Top end rebuild - new valves, head gasket and bolts etc… radiator, coolant hoses. Gear linkage bushes changed and rebuilt and many more receipts for work carried out. I will be sad to see it go.
