Body work complete! New wheels on the Young Line, indicators, sorted, head lamps now flash and wipers work! New hood next! Is there another 'Young Line'  in the U.K.? 😜

Fresh start for 2017 then - just!

….oh and I did nothing to mine today, sadly!  

repaired the door hinges and bushes as they where completely shot!!

Does Driving your car topless @ 70f and having the wind whip your hair, so that you have that "Blow-Dried-Flip"  after you take your cap off count?

Finished fitting my pop out rear windows :-) Too flipping cold in the garage though !!

Not really mate, otherwise it would be 24 years long !!
I have made several posts in this forum over the years, perhaps I should gather lots of old and more recent photos and build one !!

Took the swallow out for go round the block. 

Didn't go well, rad switch sprang a leak, no worries I'll just nip it up…… just spins in the rad….. won't tighten or come out.

New rad time then.

Took some pics of my pop out rear windows and prepped her for the body shop to sort the rear arch corners out.

Love the pop out windows, do they gave the green tint?

What width and offset are you ronals please? Are they 4x100?

Fitted new water pump today took it for a spin round the block parked it up to move my other car and had it reversed it to first day in road in 2017 and first time it been hit hopefully rest of the year will go better

I changed both rear springs (one had snapped) with the help of my dad. Also did a oil change. Slowly finally starting to work through a long list of stuff too do

Yes, they are a green tint.
The Ronals are 4x100, they are 7.5" wide with an ET of 39 I think - I have 10mm front and 20mm rear hubcentric spacers.

Not mine, but my sons!!

We picked-up his first MK1 Golf - a GTI originally but now sporting a 16v KR.

It needs a little welding and the engine intake putting in and get running, but a nice little project and should be good once it's sorted.
