Series 1 towing eye

Hi,
Putting a new front panel on my golf- its a genuine s1 one with no towing eye. Figured I would leave it like that because I have small bumpers anyway. Does anyone have a picture of the series 1 bumper mounted towing eye? I would like to replicate one just in case the inevitable happens!!!

Thanks unfortunately I can't really see what it looks like in those pics. Is it mounted to the bumper or the chassis? Didn't even know they were different till today!

ok cool no worries jsut a few pics i had of the front of the car if i get chance in daylight ill get a proper pic for you  

It is mounted on the bumper bracket with a coach bolt and hook.

Okay cheers. How easy would it be to make a close replica? I can imagine I might struggle to find one for sale cheap.

hey Rob, did you ever get bumper bracket towing eye made up and fitted with that panel?  I have the same panel on my car and no towing eye, so would really like the same thing for mine.
