I spotted this GTI for sale some time ago on car & classic/, looking for offers on £12k

Yes, it's there. Can't be many missing now as I'm up to 48 identified, and there's just under 100 registered with the DVLA. Guaranteed that some of these records will be inaccurate though, and the actual number left will be between the two figures somewhere.

Hi, I can't tell you very much at the mo as I don't have all the paperwork to hand, the car is still in the previous owners garage where it's sat for almost 20 years! It's a 1.6 GTI 4 speed, small rear lights, tintop, the correct tartan interior that had been removed and stored in the attic. The car has had 6 previous owners and now lives in Somerset.

Ianbomber76  I was waiting to see if this car turned up on here. I had a petrol tank for a mk1 scirocco powdercoated in Bridgwater and Troy was telling me all about it.

All I can say is you had a right result. Look forward to seeing the progress.

I spotted that late last night too. Price has gone up £9k in 5 years, but it was likely undervalued in 2010.
Seems like a good one, although the wheels are the wrong width. They're 5" rather than the correct 5 1/2" that should be on it.

Absolute bargain in 2010, definitely a car which is only going to go up in value, if I had a bit more in my tin top budget I would have bought it instead of the one I bought last week :-(

I saw that silver one advertised on eBay last night, same price.
