My guess this week is going to be £3,300 simply because the car is rare yes but paintwork looks a tad shoddy from what I can see! So I think this is a fair price, considering I only paid £400.00 for GolyTheGolfs golf   and that's a 1983  
Fingers crossed I beat him this week  

All I can say about this car is I'd love to own it. 
It's an early 5dr which I personally don't see very often if at all, 3 doors yes but not 5.

As mentioned it's complete from what we can see which makes as we all know a mega huge difference when restoring one! 

I'd have bought it in a heart beat had I place for it.
Well that and the money to cover the purchase of it, restoration and divorce! 
It that order.

My loving wife said to me recently because she knows I really want another one. 

"That if I buy another Golf Mk1 she'll cut my gonads off!"

With the lowest guess coming from Kenneth Cartwright with bang on £1000

And the highest form Ant with £3570 (just £2 more than Golythegolf)

The average is currently sat at £2163 and if we're going off average and that being the 'asking price' then the closest would be Denia with £2115

But lets be honest, that means nothing does it!

Technically I'm not on the pitch, not as a fourth official anyone, I am as a player though… Not sure why I'm telling you that!

Head under bonnet of the R32 with a 4lb lump hammer filling up a couple of carrier bags with bits!
