I must add you do own one!
You own your husband who just happens to have a Mk1.
Owns me! Hahaha! You don't know the half of it.
She owns me, walks me, makes me do the cooking, ironing and I have to make us both frocks (that's a dress to our younger members) to wear when we go out in public!
It's torture

Welcome back the Goly's, any new dresses?
Yes my friend, and if the wife beats me in this competition then I guess I will just have to post a picture of me wearing one so if I were you I would be praying that I am on top of her all season because me in a dress is not a pretty picture

Its strange you guys knowing and I'm not in my pj's on the sofa at home watching kids tv
Hi Ant, perhaps you could have every Friday afternoon off work so you can chill in your PJ's watching kids TV as soon as the pair of refs know the winner
Just an idea.
It's quite exciting thinking that one of us is close to the price. I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight.

Haha yeah I bet it is actually Ant! But this is the only way I'm ever going to be able to give Mike the results, cause Saturday's are a bit of a right off to be honest, I'm normally dancing on tables until 4am! #nevergrowingup
Si we were all trying to work out what you did professionally speaking.

But enough about that because you all want to know the results so here they are.
Car No. 1
The 'Asking Price' was £3,371
So onto the results.
1st Place jellybelly £3,347
2nd Place Fathammer £3,300
3rd Place dubboy £2,899
So there you have it.
Now if we were to take an average of the prices put forward we have the following results:
Average guess: £3770, which was only £399 over the asking price or roughly 10% which is actually extremely good!
Now normally at this point I stop there and make the post but not this time because the more observant of you will have noticed the following!
The winner at his very first attempt is non other than the Club's current Chairman.
In second place is up until this season our former competition scorer.
Whilst finishing in third we have a former Chairman.
Spot a pattern here?
No doubt there will be ramifications so I just want to make it crystal clear I have no influence over the results.
Should you feel there's anything underhand going on and whilst forming the lynching party please direct your anger at 36thcrazyfist and not me. He's the one that crunches the numbers, I don't!

Correct me if I'm wrong someone but did my £3076.00 not warrant a 3rd place ……..
That is your guess but that means you were £295 away, so take a look at the numbers here.
jellybelly was £24
fathammer £71
dubboy £96
And there were others closer than yours my friend unless I'm very much mistaken but then I was never very good with numbers!
Let's see was the official scorer says!

Well done winners!
I think on the results sheet for car no1 dubboy has £2899 which is different to what is guess was from the excel!
You may have mistaken his guess for dubm3?
You mean 36thcrazyfist may have mistaken…..
Well I had a quick look and you maybe right Hugh but I'll let Si sort that out if he sobers up this weekend.
Like Basel Fawlty said about Manuel, "It would have been easier to train a Chimp!"
Sorry Si, you know I don't mean it mate!
