OLD - Guess the Asking Price 'GAP' of MK1's in Austria, 'SEASON 1 to 3' 2013-2016.

MK1's for sale in Austria.

Morning all, so this is my new Monday morning routine then by the looks of things… some Marmite on toast and a brew (not at work, honest..) while updating the spreadsheet of guesses!

So far 10 people have guessed, and they have been accounted for - also just so you know I'm not cheating (because I want to play) Mike doesn't give me the price until 12pm on Friday, so I have no clue!

So on that note, my guess is gonna be…. £3750

11 people now!

1986 Cabriolet (long resto!)
1983 Cabriolet (daily pain in the bum)
1983 T25 (weekend pain in the bum)

Tidy looking floppy top, let's crack on with £ 3,300

Welcome back Paul, must feel strange to be back on the pitch playing again!  ;)

Feels a bit different at the moment Mike, but stepping down has done me a big favour with work.  I would say  having a day off work today would be a nice relax for a change, but as the wife has pneumonia  I'm having to play nurse.

Oh sorry to here that Paul.  :(

I'm off work today as it's Austria's National Holiday.
This is the day the country was given back its independence from allied occupation in 1955!

Well a very warm welcome to our little corner of insanity and mayhem over the winter months!

It's great to see more Ladies taking part in this game because we all know us men like to think we know everything and then for the Ladies to prove us wrong beyond a shadow of a doubt we certainly don't!   :)

Well apart from understanding the rules of Cricket or course!

I'll happily admit I know very little about cricket  :D

We'll see how good I am at guessing the right price, I always think most cars go up for far too much now but maybe I'm just stuck in 2005 prices
At least we're not doing aircooled stuff, I think I'd be horrified at what most people want nowadays!

Guess the price 'GAP' of MK1's in Austria 'Season 3' is underway!

My mate bought a type 2 bay, probably early, but it didn't have a floor, and I'm pretty sure it was a colander. 5 grand… Mental prices!

It's a good point and remember we are looking for the asking price (what the seller put it the advert) and nothing else!   ;)

It is difficult, nigh on impossible as we see so often but as a ex car sales person you just get a gut feeling over time and try to prepare your response even before they've opened their mouths.

Especially when you have asked what they want for it, to which they reply, "well you tell me what you will offer?"

If the body and chassis are in good nick and he just needs to replace the pan, 5 grand doesn't sound too bad. But the likelihood of it not needing other work is slim!  O_o

I think I'm going to be well out on the asking prices, but it will pass the time on a Monday anyway! :D

Well we are in game terms about 40 minutes into the first half of the match.

Were are missing more regular players than Liverpool FC at the moment but maybe they're going to be fit enough to play some part in the second half!

We've already seen a wide range of prices but what I can tell you is that no one has been on the number and gained the bonus point so far.

Still time in this game.

Oh I see jellybelly on line and I have to remind him to play, sorry Boss completely forgot but nows your chance!   :$
