New windscreen

Post

Any recommendation for a green tint windscreen possibly fitted in the Somerset area (around Yeovil area) do they come with the pad to fix the rear view mirror to as my car is a cabriolet?

Had a big stone hit mine and crack it this morning on the way to work. I would like to remove mine and repair some rust long the bottom then get a new screen fitted.

What about the seal? I still have the original VW seal and windscreen fitted so is it best to buy a new seal or just clean up my old VW seal?

Thanks in advance.

Mark I can't help you with a supplier unfortunately.

But I would recommend a new seal as the old one stretches when it's removed and I've seen them destroyed by the way they are removed.
As for the sticky pad I've not heard of them coming with the screen but I'm sure if you ask the supplier of the screen they can bring one with them!
