Shame it's only 2.25" as I would have liked 1 for my mk1 1.8t

Milltek is usually a very nice exhaust I have a few friends running them on later golfs and the res systems are quiet they are deeper than a factory system but sportier not boy racer cherry bomb.

Have you looked at a Trackslag system Luke? Quality is spot on and 2.5" system. I think.
Nice system Ade btw

No I haven't seen those I was looking at a jetex as they mate up to the qpeng downpipe so I've been told but don't no what the sound was like?
I'll have a look around for the trackslag system thanks

Quality is top notch. I had one on my Mk2 16v. I replaced the Jettex which had a nice burble at low revs but was very boomy on the motorway. The T-S system isn't boomy at all.
Oh and paid members should get a better deal.
Give him a shout ;-)

That sounds very nice, what charger do you run? Doesn't sound like a g60, bbm?
Where did you get your Miltek from. Everywhere I've looked have it for silly money.
Cheers

Milltek's new mk1 golf gti exhaust
Got it from Miltek themselves, well Midland VW did as I had them fit as it needed a custom pipe to link to the downpipe and I didn't fancy lying under the car trying to make something up !!
I am not sure there is any discount to be had, it cost £520 - so not cheap, but it oozes quality and in both fit and finish.
The charger came from BBM, it is an AutoRotor one that is based on the Lysholm Twin Screw design, it bolts in place of the G60 charger.
