Close number plates

Seeing Ian Howard's nice silver GTI in this month's pic of the month, i noticed his number plate - only 11 sequentially away from mine, which i acquired a few weeks ago - needing some work!



Anyone else know of any coincidences like this?

In another life, I also own a Triumph Vitesse, and a member of the club has one just 3 numbers away from my Mum's old Vitesse - pretty amazing from 1967!

I used to own a Red Mk1 Golf diesel which had the number plate FHW 16W and there was a Red Mk1 Golf about 15 miles from where I lived with the reg FHW 17W !
My Golf is no more as I rolled it into a ditch..  Quick search on the web and it seems the other Golf is also no more…

Not mk1 but my dad has a land rover GUR274H and my sisters ex boyfriend had a Toyota corolla which was H274GUR
